2sls logistic

Greg
Hi everyone,

Is it possible to run 2sls regression in spss predicting a binary outcome
(logistic)? If so, is there a brief guide for the syntax?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Greg

Re: 2sls logistic

It isn't built in, but you could do it like this.

1) regress your endogenous regressor, w, on the instrument(s)
2) calculate the predicted values for w
3) run genlin or another logistic procedure using the predicted values for w in place of the original
4) recalculate the logistic residuals using the coefficients from 3 and the actual w instead of w hat.
