95% CI for a estimation of the conditional mean in a simple linear regression.

AR-4
I'd like to compute the  95% confidence interval for a estimation (not
prediction) of the conditional mean in a simple linear regression.
The formula I easy by hand, but how can I do it by mean of spss?
95%CI of y(xi) ?

Could anyone have an idea on how to do it?

Thank a lot.

AR.

Add   "/SAVE PRED ICIN ." as last line in your REGRESSION syntax.

(using the GUI: got to SAVE and click the option: "interval-
individual" or something like that, I'm translating from Spanish SPSS
version).

"It is unwise to use a statistical procedure whose use one does
not understand. SPSS syntax guide cannot supply this knowledge, and it
is certainly no substitute for the basic understanding of statistics
and statistical thinking that is essential for the wise choice of
methods and the correct interpretation of their results".
