Hi All,
One of our sales consultants have a pre sale query about
functionality of AMOS, I have been pointed to this email address to get some
help, please suggest where can I get some information about this below query.
Query :--
I would like to ask about whether AMOS has a certain functionality to
help me decide if the program is appropriate for my research.
I am investigating the structure of emotional responses over time,
based on self-ratings provided by respondents on 16 items, measured at 4 time
points (i.e. 64 ratings per respondent). I expect to conduct several
confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) models to test for potential structures of
these responses. More specifically, I want to conduct multi-level CFAs to
assess both between-person and within-person variation in scores. I have been informed
this is possible with AMOS.
However, my question is whether AMOS has the functionality to also
control for auto-correlations that may be present in such repeated measures
data? That is, I expect stronger correlations between responses at:
Time 1 <--> Time 2
Time 2 <--> Time 3
Time 3 <--> Time 4
Responses given closely in time would reasonably be correlated. And
I'd expect weaker correlations between responses at other times (e.g. Time 1
<--> Time 4). Can AMOS account for this auto-correlated data structure?
If so, how could I find out how to enable this in AMOS?
