Activate Dataset after Flip

Hello SPSSers,

 

Using v17.0.2, after a FLIP I cannot seem to activate the dataset created by the FLIP command via syntax.  What am I missing?

 

Here's my current FLIP syntax:

FLIP VARIABLES = ALL
  /NEWNAMES var1 .
