Additional info on changing format from records to single row

I just discovered that the number of sessions that I thought were only
either 1 or 31 actually vary from 1 to 31. Thus some subjects have 1
session (one row of data) while others might have 2 or 3 or 15 or 30
sessions and the corresponding number of rows.
