Application of discrimininant functions to new cases

Bree Witteveen
Hello all,
I am working on analysis of stable isotope ratios for a population of
migratory animals. I have used discriminant function analysis (DFA) on
feeding animals and would like to apply the functions to breeding animals to
predict feeding location. Does anyone know how to apply previous DFA
results/functions to new cases?
Thanks!
Bree

Melissa Ives
One of our analytic memos that explains this process.
I sent a copy to Bree, but it is available on the web at:
