Aspect Ratio of Idaho Cloropleth Version 20 Map of Means

John Fiedler
I imported the boundaries of Idaho's 44 counties from Census Tiger data and
converted the shp file into an SPSS smz file to create a template.
The map came out correctly with all the data but the aspect ratio was almost
square despite the that Idaho is 305 mi E-W and 479 mi N-S.
While I can stretch the result image in PowerPoint, I distort the labels and
other text.
Suggestions, anyone?
Thanks,
JOHN
