The variables are continuous and ordinal. Can SPSS put in one correlation matrix the polychoric, polyserial and Pearson coefficients of the variables?

SPSS 17 will have a new extension command, SPSS HETCOR, that produces a table with the appropriate types of correlation coefficient among these three based on the variable measurement levels.
It will require the R and Python plugins, but no knowledge of either of those is required. And it even has a dialog box interface built with the new Custom Dialog Box tool included with 17. The materials will be posted on SPSS Developer Central.
