Automate Results to Word

Brock-15
Hi all,

I just wanted to get a sense of how people "write reports" in SPSS.  Yes, I
know we can export, and with 17, we can even do some fun stuff in syntax.
But  if I had a Word Template, could I route some output to a table in the
document?  Ideas I had were to use Python (still very new to me), export
results to Excel and write VBA (I am much more proficient in this language)
to import it into the table.  The other idea I had was to utilze xml, since
I believe Office 2007 is built on this premise, but I am not sure if you can
import an xml file as a table.

Anyway, simply put, I am trying to find a way to take the output that my
team generates and simply our reporting process.  We typically use SPSS for
the data import, management, analyses, but export it and copy and paste it
into our existing report templates.  It could be worse, but with 17 and/or
Python, I figure some of you may have some great solutions you are using.

Anyway, any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Brock
