Backward elimination in GEE with the new SPSS

amycohn
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to conduct a backward elimination for
model trimming in SPSS 18.0 (PASW) using the GEE function?

Syntax or point-and-click options are welcome.

Thank you!

Sorry, there currently is no automatic model selection in the procedure; you would have to do it manually by building successive models and removing the poorly performing predictors.
