Hi everyone!
Sorry for what are about to be the most basic SPSS questions you have received but maybe it'll be a nice change and a quick success! I am conducting analysis on the success of a employment scheme in my local area and have largely been left alone to do it with little knowledge of SPSS. I have coded all my data so far. What tests can I run to find out the potential statistical significance of the following relationships (looking to use basic tests like T Tests or chi squared tests, but any advice is greatly appreciated): 1. Relationship between those who are non disabled or disabled (1= disabled, 2=not disabled, 3=not sure, 4=prefer not to say and then regroup for 1=disabled 2=not disabled) and how they find the resources available at the employment scheme (1 being very bad, 5 being very good) 2. Relationship between those who are non disabled or disabled (1= disabled, 2=not disabled, 3=not sure, 4=prefer not to say and then regroup for 1=disabled 2=not disabled) and whether they agree with the statement that the scheme has increased their confidence (1 being strongly disagree, 5 being strongly agree) 3. Relationship between gender (1=female, 2=male, 3=other) and how they find the resources available at the employment scheme (1 being very bad, 5 being very good) 4. Relationship between gender (1=female, 2=male, 3=other) and whether they agree with the statement that the scheme has increased their confidence (1 being strongly disagree, 5 being strongly agree) 5. Relationship between time on the scheme (1=0-5 months...7=5+ years) and resources and confidence (see above) 6. Relationship between whether they have been in work before (1=yes - part time, 2=yes - full time, 3=no - regroups as 1=yes, 2=no) and resources and confidence (see above) 7. Relationship between having left the scheme and returned (1=yes, 2=no) and resources and confidence (see above) Sorry for the lengthy question - hopefully this is all quite straightforward and I get to kick myself for not working it out. As I say, any help is greatly appreciated for this beginner and thank you in advance. -- Sent from: http://spssx-discussion.1045642.n5.nabble.com/ ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. Hello First of all I apologize for my bad English, but there goes, in spss there is a menu that gives you several tools, one of them is Analyze> custom tables>. This opens a dialog box where you must drag the variables you want to analyze and allows you to add statistics as percentages, frequencies and measures of central tendency, in addition to significant differences between columns, in short, there is much of the analysis you need . I hope this helps you, remember; in the menu in the option analyze> custom tables Sincerely, El mié., 3 abr. 2019 a las 3:32, llhayward (<[hidden email]>) escribió: Hi everyone!
