Dear colleagues,
I confirmed that I have included in my SPSS v.20 the add-on "IBM SPSS Bootstrapping" (using the SHOW LICENSE syntax). However, I'm not able to find the "Bootstrapping" button in any dialog box. What do I need to do? Thanks and kind regards |

Hi Jignesh,
I know it. But I'm not able to find the buttom in any supported analysis and according to the add-ons of my SPSS, I have the Bootstrapping add-on installed. |
If you google image search "bootstrap SPSS" you'll find some images of Frequencies and Univariate command dialogs containing Bootstap subdialog also

Does bootstrap work if you type the syntax directly? Here is an example from the FM:
BOOTSTRAP. DESCRIPTIVES VARIABLES=var1 var2 var3 /MISSING=VARIABLE. Try that, replacing the variable list with some variables from your own data file. If it doesn't work, you have a bigger problem than the bootstrap button not appearing in dialogs.

Run this from a syntax window to confirm
that the Bootstrapping option is really licensed.

The poster did not say how he checked,
which is why I was specific about SHOW LIC.

I am baffled. Grasping at straws,
this could happen using Statistics Server with that module licensed on
the Server side but not the Client.
