Can I run a job in Production/Batch Mode (in the background) in SPSS Statistics 21 Desktop Version?

Jorge Vulej
Can I run a job in Production/Batch Mode (in the background) in SPSS
Statistics 21 Desktop Version?

I opened SPSS and loaded the desired Syntax program into the syntax
window, but failed to run the SPSS syntax program in a batch process.

Is there a way to find or create the total elapsed time of the job in a
log file?

Thank you,

Jorge

You can run Production Mode with just the desktop client, but you can't run the PM job remotely without Server.  Without Server, the job would run on the client machine.
