Canonical correlation

SPSS SPSS
Hi:

  I want to conduct some analyses using the canonical correlation but SPSS doesn't have that. I wonder if you have any idea of a free software that does that.

SPSS historically came with a canonical correlation macro on the SPSS
directory when you installed it..

Alternatively maybe some one has written a python file for this now

Re: Canonical correlation

Linda Zientek
   The following syntax will work. Just fill in your variable lists. This is from Thompson

  Thompson, B. (2000). Canonical correlation analysis. In L. Grimm & P. Yarnold (Eds.), Reading and understanding more multivariate statistics (pp. 285-316). Washington, DC: American Psychological Association.

  subtitle 'CANONICAL CORRELATION ANALYSIS *****************' .
  manova Variable List with Variable List/
  print=signif(multiv eigen dimenr)/
  discrim=stan corr alpha(.999) .

Re: Canonical correlation

Mark A Davenport MADAVENP
The syntax program that SPSS provides can also be found at Raynauld's
site.  The direct link to the syntax file on his site is here.  However,
you should find the same syntax file in your C:/Program Files/SPSS
directory as CanonicalCorrelation.sps

http://www.spsstools.net/Syntax/Unclassified/CanonicalCorrelation.txt
