I've been using SPSS for years and all of sudden tables that I generate using SPSS Custom Tables and Graphs as well, all include:
Case source is C:\Users\....\Whatever.sav somewhere in the output SPSS generates. To be clear... I mean the ACTUAL table or the ACTUAL graph contain this label, not just the output which of course also includes the syntax that was run, etc.. In the case of the tables there is nothing in the code that SPSS generates that tells it to put this string in. Rather, it appears as a column heading:
Case source is C:\Users\... \Whatever.sav
Post Survey Pre Survey Column N % Column N %
As things stand now, how far in school do you think you will get?
1.00 1.1% .9%
2.00 3.4% 1.4%
3.00 7.6% 4.9%
4.00 2.5% 3.2%
5.00 44.4% 41.5%
6.00 22.8% 26.7%
7.00 12.4% 14.2%
8.00 5.7% 7.2%
I would have sent a screen shot but the list processor seems to want to reject them. Any idea how to get rid of this. I use a custom tablelook but it has not changed since I created it several years ago. When you have to generate lots of tables, having to remove each of these cells gets to be a bit of a drag.

CTABLES will not do that sort of things
without your telling it to. Might you have an autoscript active that
is modifying the titles? Or a variable label being used as a title
that contains this?
