Checking rater and topic bias in writing tests

Humphrey Paulie
Dear Colleagues,
I want to study rater and topic bias in a writing test.
What standard techniques exist to do so?
I'm aware of multi-faceted Rasch model and G-Theory. However, I want something easier and more streamlined like ANOVA or something.

Best
Humphrey

G-theory is ANOVA-based.  If the problem is difficulty in finding software to do the computations, take a look at G_String II.

Notice the link to the manual near the bottom of the page.
