Hi Colin,
Typically pretty good practical information about classification and
regression trees can be found in data mining books for CRM applications.
There are quite a few of those, if you do a search on amazon for "data
mining customer relationship management" you should get a decent number of
books. I found them quite comparable.
One particularly good description of trees in segmentation is in James
Meyers' book "Segmentation and Positioning for Strategic Marketing
Decisions".
I am not aware of a book targeted specfically at market research.
