Classification Trees

Valdiserri, Colin
Can anyone recommend a book or two on the application of classification
trees in market research, something that is pretty detailed in that it
goes through output and how to use the output for certain decisions?

Colin

Re: Classification Trees

Hi Colin,

Typically pretty good practical information about classification and
regression trees can be found in data mining books for CRM applications.
There are quite a few of those, if you do a search on amazon for "data
mining customer relationship management" you should get a decent number of
books. I found them quite comparable.

One particularly good description of trees in segmentation is in James
Meyers' book "Segmentation and Positioning for Strategic Marketing
Decisions".

I am not aware of a book targeted specfically at market research.
