Cluster Analysis - meaning in the output order of cases?

Arlin Cuncic-2
Hello list,

Sorry, this is a duplicate of my previous post, I forgot to put in a
subject line.

I have a couple of questions regarding cluster analysis (using Ward's
Method). In the data columns that SPSS adds with group membership, is
there any meaning to the order of cases within a group? For example, are
the first and second in the group closer to each other than the last?

Also, is there any meaning to the order of the groups as they appear
(i.e., is group 1 somehow worse than group 5?)

Thanks,
Arlin

As far as I know - NO to both your questions.
