Comparing Partial Areas Under the Curve

Michael Kruger
I have conducted several ROC analyses and obtained AUC (area under the
curve) values for each group. I now want to compare only part of the AUC
for the various groups (FPR < 15%).
Can anyone point me in the right direction on how I can do this using
SPSS? I am using v.18.0 and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Denbleyker, John
I believe this can be done in a very useful R package (pcvsuite) as well with the comproc menu

Re: Comparing Partial Areas Under the Curve

Michael Kruger
John,

thanks. But I have yet to really learn how to use R. It's on a long list
of things to do before I die....
