Comparison Table of SAS, SPSS & R add-ons

Muenchen, Robert A (Bob)
Hi All,

I've compiled a table that lists SAS and SPSS add-on products to their
approximate equivalents in R. It's at
http://oit.utk.edu/scc/RforSAS&SPSSproducts.pdf . I would appreciate
suggestions on how to improve it.

Cheers,
Bob

ANCOVA & post hoc tests

bgreen
I am hoping someone can clarify a point for me. If I try to run the
following syntax I receive a warning - is this because it is
problematic to try an obtain a post hoc test for every level of
wors5x by the interval variable (avmth3fq) or for some other reason?

Any comments are much appreciated,

bob

UNIANOVA
avfreq BY wors5x group WITH avmth3fq
/METHOD = SSTYPE(3)
/INTERCEPT = INCLUDE
/PLOT = PROFILE( wors5x*group )
/EMMEANS = TABLES(OVERALL)
/EMMEANS = TABLES(wors5x)
/EMMEANS = TABLES(group)
/EMMEANS = TABLES(wors5x*group)
  /POSTHOC = wors5x (SCHEFFE)
/PRINT = DESCRIPTIVE ETASQ OPOWER HOMOGENEITY
/CRITERIA = ALPHA(.05)
/DESIGN = wors5x group wors5x*group .
