Comparison of coefficients of variation

Hector Maletta

What is the most adequate statistical test for comparing multiple coefficients of variation? A student of mine has about 100 CV (SD / mean) for the same number of variables, and must ascertain whether they differ significantly or not. Is T-TEST adequate for this?

Hector,

It doesn't seem natural to me.....I'm going back a long way.....but I remember an F-test being used...maybe on the square of the CV?
