Does anyone have an auto-magic way to create a table of reliability
norms for >100 scales?
I am particularly interested in creating this kind of table by a series
of variables such as age, gender, race, etc. So I am particularly
interested in creating a template that can be adjusted.
Currently to get this information, from Reliability, I run the data
using split file by the variable and then need to open the output for
each of 100 scales to get the 'answers'.
I have not seen any kind of report for this and my discussions with SPSS
staff seem to indicate it could be done with a bit of work. I need to
create such tables for a meeting at the end of April.
For example, the gender table might look like this:
Male Female
Total
Scale K Mean N s.d. Alpha Mean N
s.d. Alpha Mean N s.d. Alpha
Myscale 7 2.5 1285 .89 .82 1.9 856 1.16
.81 2.3 2141 .93 .82
I am not versed in Python, but some here have started using it so we
could probably figure out any solutions involving Python.
Thanks!
Melissa
