Creating centiles

charlene thornton
Hi

I have a list of baby birthweights (in grams), gestations at birth in weeks from 20-22) and baby genders (1=male, 2=female).

How do I create birth centiles (0-100) from this data in SPSS.

Mant thanks

Take a look at the RANK command.

You could try:

RANK VARIABLES=x (A)
  /PERCENT
  /PRINT=YES
  /TIES=MEAN.
