In the
table following which was created using ctables, can the value labels for the
'variables', what spss calls p1pp1, p1pp4, be suppressed so that only the values
are listed. I think the answer is NO but i'd like help from a more knowledgable

You just want the numbers instead of the
labels?
Run SET TNUMBERS=VALUES. to suppress all the value labels. Alternatively, you can use TEMPORARY. VALUE LABELS X. to kill the value labels for a variable for just the next procedure.
