Custom Keyboard Shortcuts

Is there any way to create custom keyboard shortcuts for SPSS? I would like
to create a shortcut that allows me to open the custom tables dialog box in
one keystroke.

Any ideas or suggestions?

You can't literally do that, but there are some shortcut possibilities.
- Create a toolbar button that opens the dialog via View >Toolbars.  That would work with just one click.
- The dialog recall toolbar button gets you quick access to recently used dialogs without retracing the menu path.
- There are some external tools that allow you to assign menu actions to function keys and such
- Using the Menu Editor, you could create a custom top level menu with a single subitem that would at least reduce the number of navigation keystrokes required.
