Hi all,
In custom tables if i generate tables with string data on my row and some scale data on column, I will get it by ASCENDING order of the string data . But I want it as it is , I don want it to be ASCENDING / DESCENDING order , kindly help me if we can get it by default view.

What do you mean by "as it is"?
There is no such thing except for case order. If you want to
list cases, Ctables isn't the right tool. Use Summarize or Report
or the LIST command for that.

Hi, "As it is", I mean that how the data are there in the SPSS data editor. I tried a lot and I have used report option only. So If we generate a table with string data and scale data,we get the table generated by ascending/descending order ,but not as it is in the data view. hmmmmmmmm.

There is no "report" option in
Ctables. To repeat, use a procedure that does case listings such
as SUMMARIZE or LIST.
