You can specify variables to keep on opening the data file using the GET
command.
You can specify variables to delete using the SAVE command.

Subject: DELETE A RANGE OF VARIABLES
Dear List
I want to delete a group of variables in determined range and position.
For example:
In the base I have the variables:
v1 v2 v3 v4 v5 v6 v7 v8 v9 v10
I have a enormous quantity of variables and write the names is a problem in
a
syntax.
I the first step, I want to delete V1,V2,V3,V4 e save a new file.
And in the second step I want to delete the others variables and save a new
file.
Is possible to solve this using any syntax or scripts?
