Data formatting Question

David Thompson
Colleagues:

I have a data set of the form:

ID DATE V1 V2 V3
ID DATE V1 V2 V3
ID DATE V1 V2 V3
ID DATE V1 V2 V3

I would like to transform it to the form:

ID DATE1 V11 V21 V31 DATE2 V12 V22 V32 DATE3 V13 V23 V33
Etc.

Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

Might I find the guidance I need in an manual rather than bothering this list with such things? If so, where?

TIA,

David

Re: Data formatting Question

Maguin, Eugene

(Not to be snarky) Indeed, one might find enlightenment in the manual.
