I'm having a problem with a relatively simple table. If you issues the following command (in SPSS 16):
FREQUENCIES VARIABLES=q1 q2
/STATISTICS=MEAN
/ORDER=ANALYSIS.
...you get what you'd expect, and the means will have two decimal places:
Statistics
q1 q2
N Valid 26 26
Missing 0 0
Mean 3.42 2.85
However, if you change to ORDER=VARIABLE, you get
Statistics
q1
N Valid 26
Missing 0
Mean 3
Now, I can go in and reformat the cell so that I get two decimal places, but on a large production run this is more than tedious. I can't find any menu or syntax to help here. Can anyone tell me how to get the non-rounded off values in this simple table?
