Diagnostic test

iheb bougmiza
hello,
I have two diagnostic tests (1 and 2) for whom I have calculated the sensitivity, specificity, PPV and NPV Each on was compared to a gold standard test.
Is there a statistical test that would say which one of the two tests is better and should be used in practice? thank you in advance

Iheb

Re: Diagnostic test

SR Millis-3
You could compare their ROC AUCs.

You can use ROC Analizer, a freeware program for that. It can still be
found in some ftp servers (google for it). If you can't find it, then
tell me and I'll e-mail it to you.
If both diagnostic tests have been tested on the same people, then you
can use SCRN.exe, part of the freeware package PEPI 4.0 to compare them.
