hello,
I have two diagnostic tests (1 and 2) for whom I have calculated the sensitivity, specificity, PPV and NPV Each on was compared to a gold standard test. Is there a statistical test that would say which one of the two tests is better and should be used in practice? thank you in advance Iheb _____________________________________________________________________________ Envoyez avec Yahoo! You could compare their ROC AUCs.

It can still be found in some ftp servers (google for it). If you can't find it, then tell me and I'll e-mail it to you. If both diagnostic tests have been tested on the same people, then you can use SCRN.exe, part of the freeware package PEPI 4.0 to compare them.
