Dunn-Sidak tests for planned non-orthogonal contrasts following MANOVA

Paul Ginns-2
Hi everyone,

I have a multivariate quasi-experimental dataset, and for each group of
related variables my plan is to do an overall MANOVA test, then follow
this up with non-orthogonal planned contrasts. I plan to control the
Type 1 error rate for follow-up univariate tests using Dunn-Sidak tests
where MANOVA assumptions are met, and Dunn-Sidak tests with Welch's
adjustment where they're not . Does anyone know of any SPSS-related
resources I might read to check whether I'm on the right track, and any
specifics of conducting such analyses?

Hopefully,

Paul
