Hello everybody,
For my study I have to use SPSS. I used an online survey tool where I had the opportunity to download the result in an Excel file. Thereafter I tried to open the file in SPSS. However, it keeps showing the error 'Error: (2067) The Excel file is password protected. Unable to open the file.' This is strange since I never gave it a password and I don't have the opportunity to remove a password somewhere. I hope somebody can help me with this. Thanks in advance! |

Can you open the file in Excel? If so, resave it and try opening it in Statistics again. Excel file formats are complex, and there are lot of pseudo-Excel files out there. On Tue, May 17, 2016 at 7:10 AM, daan <[hidden email]> wrote: Hello everybody, |

Adding to Jon's comment.
If for some reason you don't have Excel you can try the same exercise with Open Office (Free with much of the same functionality as M$ Office). HTH
