It is the little things that kill you.

Where/how can I look up the error codes?

Re: Error codes

Marks, Jim
Google gives this as the first result of searching for "SPSS Error#5241"

http://listserv.uga.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A2=ind0410&L=spssx-l&D=0&P=26458

The error seems to be that an undefined variable was used in the MATCH
FILES subcommand /DROP
-- does that match your output?

Hi Sean,

I usually do a search for the error numbers in SPSS' Knowledgebase, on
their Technical Support website http://support.spss.com/. Being only a
text search it can sometimes take a couple trials to find a hit (try
including or not including the # etc), but usually there will be
something listed.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Kylie.
