Exact test in PASW 18.0.1?

AlessandroMacario
Hi,
I'd like to run some exact test in PASW 18 but I cannot find the dialog box in which I could tick the "exact" option? Do I need to download an add-on? Is it free?
Thanks for your help

The exact test add-on is not free.  What kind of exact test do you want to run?  There may be other options -- e.g., I believe you can still download a free 30-day trial of StatXact from www.cytel.com.

Thanks for your quick answer. I'd like to run a Kruskal-Wallis procedure using an exact approach.
You advised me to use the trial version of Statxact but I work on Mac OS X which does not support that software.... ;-(

Depending on your sample sizes, you may be able to use the table of critical values computed by the authors of this article (mind the line-wrap):

For other readers, even if you're not too interested in the topic, I do recommend that you take a quick peek at the "Computation of Exact Critical Values" section (p. 6), and keep going through the first full paragraph on p. 7.  There's some pretty good nerd humour.  ;-)
