Excel question

Howard Schuman
My Excel 2003 figures insist on zooming to a default of 125%, which
makes the full figure unreadable on my screen without scrolling. I'd be
glad to know of a simple way to change the default, ideally once & for
all, but if not initially, then at least when a figure is saved. Any
advice that doesn't require extra programming will be appreciated.   hs

Re: Excel question

A little Googling goes a long way: http://excelzoom.com/2009/02/set-excel-zoom-level/
I don't have Excel on my laptop (only OO), so I didn't test it. You probably need to copy/ paste the code, and save it to a template (in MS Word it's called normal.dot, in Excel it's often called personal.xls), not to the excel file itself.

Cheers!!

All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?
