Hi,
I am wondering if there is any way to export a frequency table to word (.doc) by using syntax. I can do this by right-click each frequency table and choose "export", but it would be a hugh amount of work if there are so many. Thanks, |
Look at the File menu; you will see Export. This gives
you choices for export formats and also for exporting all tables, selected tables, or visible tables. It can not export "selected" objects. On Mon, Oct 6, 2014 at 11:55 AM, Xiaoxun Sun <[hidden email]> wrote:

By default, All objects are exported to a doc file, for example, if you choose Type doc. However, you must also have a correctly specified full Windows File name. Selected means that you select a single table via the Windows Navigator, say. Or, you select a set of tables via use of the CRTL key. When in the Export Output dialog box, click Help for more details. Tony Babinec From: SPSSX(r) Discussion [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of albert_sun It can not export "selected" objects. The command is OUTPUT EXPORT, but using
just syntax, it doesn't recognize interactive selections in the Viewer.
You can preselect items to export using OMS and write them directly
as a Word document or in many other formats.
More elaborate things can be done with scripting. Here is an example that creates a Word
document with two tables in it.
