Exporting Labels to a .xls

Hi,

Wondering, is there any way i can export data from the variable view
window of SPSS. I need to export the (name) and (labels) to a excel file
to document the history of questions asked during a 7 year period.

So i have

Name | Type | Width | Decimals |Label | Values | Missing | Columns | Align

a1a  |  xxx |  xxx  |   xxx    |Most important issue | xxx|  xxx   | xxx


What i need is the (name) and the (Label) to export into a excel file to
look like this:

Name |      Question Type     |

a1a  |   Most Important issue |


If this makes sense and anyone know how to perform this function that
would be great!!
