Exporting Oracle database to SPSS

Dear all,
  I asked a colleague to prepare a database in Oracle and enter data while I was not around.  Unfortunately the database is vertical and i find it dificult to transpose to horizontal level as in SPSS.

  My question is, what can I then do so that I can solve the situation.

  What Syntax is available for such a problem.

  I think I have communicated.

Many more details are required for a complete answer--but look at the FLIP command or CASESTOVARS.
