To test things out, I just tried to open an old file and was asked if I wanted to download Legacy Viewer from the web site.

 

 

I got this in reply, but haven’t gone further as I’m busy with other things.

Naming a product "Legacy Viewer" and then withdrawing it from distribution

seems a little perverse to say the least.

WTF indeed!  Do you have the link to the web-page that says the Legacy

Viewer

(LV) is no longer available for distribution?

 

I have the LV installed on my PC, but cannot find the installer.  (I expect

I deleted it to save space.)  Given that my PC is about 4 years old, I will

probably need to install LV on a new PC sometime soon.
