I do not have the answer to your main question, but I do know that
it is wrong to use factor loadings to compute factor scores. Factor loadings
play a role in the prediction of observed variables as a function of the
underlying factors, not the converse.

Dear SPSS users
We have done a hierarchical factor analysis using SPSS. We then
computed the
"Schmid-Leiman Solution" with syntax written by Wolff and Preising,

But now, we need the factor score coefficients in order to compute
