Font style formatting in Syntax Editor

Kirill Orlov
I was formely on SPSS 15 where, while composing syntax I could make text
bold or underlined or italic - because text formatting buttons were
available to set them on the syntax editor toolbar. In SPSS 20, I don't
see such buttons available anymore. How can I do to make portions of code
bold etc in syntax window of SPSS 20? This formatting is very important to
me.

Look at Edit>Options>Syntax Editor.  You can set preferences for automatic text color and style according to the type of the text (command, subcommand etc).

Jon,
No, it's not what I need. I need making bold or underlying arbitrary portions of text that I select, exactly like in a usual text editor. I could do it in SPSS 15 because buttons "Bold" etc. were available. Where are they gone!?
