Colleagues, This may have been discussed and I missed it. Sorry if that is the case. I recently installed v25 on both my win10 and iMac machines. My syntax files are all in Courier New, but when I open
them in SPSS, they are a hodgepodge of fonts. When I try to change the fonts in SPSS, it does not work. I have to copy into Word, change the syntax to Courier New, and then copy/paste back into SPSS. Then, when I finish and save, it does not save it in Courier
New. Very frustrating. I have over 1,500 spss syntax files. I am hoping there is a fix for this. I have installed the fix packs . . .

Syntax files are plain text. They do not have any font attributes, so they cannot be considered to be in Courier New or any other font. If you are saving them in some other app such as Word, they might have formatting properties, but SPSS will not understand those and will probably do something rude. You can set the overall font property of a syntax window from the View menu in the SE, and you can set color coding as a function of the token type via Edit > Syntax Editor.
