Hi,
I use two fonts in SPSS: Bitstream Vera Sans Mono, and IBM Plex. They're easy to read and I can tell a 0 from an O. These fonts appear normal in all of my Windows applications, yet produce gibberish in the syntax window (IBM Plex), or don't appear at all (Bitstream) in my font list. Suggestions? These fonts are not provided by default with Windows. They have to be installed separately from Bitstream or IBMPlex sites. I installed both of these. It required a restart of Statistics before they would show up in the font list in the syntax editor, but they seem to work fine (using Statistics 26). However, with IBMPlex, there are many different script version available, e.g., Devanagari, so perhaps you don't have the right version or don't have the TrueType fonts, which is what I used. I installed the IBMPlexMono and IBMPlexSans fonts only. The latter seems particularly nice. I also tried this with Statistics 24, and it worked fine there, too. Hi, Jon, does this mean that the syntax font problem has been solved in version 26 (Different fonts for comments and code etc.)? I'm using version 25 currently. Mario Giesel Munich, Germany
