Hi All,

I would like to ask an apology to all members of this list for the bad comment I had addressed to ViAnn Beadle few months ago.  I can change my name if I want but I chose not to because ViAnn Beadle deserves for my public admission of guilt.  It would not happen again. ViAnn Beadle, I hope you are willing to forgive me. Allow me join in this list again professionally.  Thank you.

Sincerely,
Juanito Talili

In reply to this post by Juanito Talili
Thank you, Stace.

Actually what I want is a procedure for validating a questionnaire.  For simplicity, assume that an instrument was constructed based on theory with two latents.  Then, five items anchored on each latent were constructed.   Suppose I deploy my questionnaire to pilot testing to about a number of persons.  What will I do with the pilot test data?  What to compute with the pilot test data? After the pilot testing, the questionnaire is administered to another set of respondents. Then, what will I do with these data?

Thank you.

Hello Juanito,

can you you elaborate on what you mean by a framework for validating an instrument, so I can better understand your question?

thanks,

Stace
