Frreezing columns?

Hi-
   There used to be a way to freeze columns - so that for instance, the caseid can be kept visible as you  move through the  variables to the right.  I can't for the life of me remember how to do that - and I can't find it in help.

There are very thin bars outside of the horizontal and vertical scroll bars in the Data Editor Data View window.  Grab one with the mouse and drag.
