I did not find a known problem report
of this nature that wasn't fixed for Release 18.0.1. I've opened a support
case and someone will contact you individually.

Since version 17, I have had intermittent problems
with editing contents
of the SPSS output file (such as modifiying the contents of the
FREQUENCIES command. After making a change, the output viewer locks
up
with the "processing..." message and most times, I have to close
out the
application (losing my work in progress).
I have upgraded to version 18 and installed the patch hoping this problem
would have rectified itself with the new release. The problem still
exists. When it happened today, I checked if there was a newer patch,
and
there was not - so I am up to date patch-wise.
Is there a workaround?

[hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the
command. To leave the list, send the command
SIGNOFF SPSSX-L
