Hi everybody,
I'm dealing with Basic Tables. What I'm trying to do is to "customize" Subcomand STATISTICS in order to restrict it to categories which has a certain number of valid cases (n>minimum number of cases) and to appears like "missing" otherwise (n<minimum number of cases). For exampe, the variable sector_id has 4 categories: 1 Central Administration 2 Health 3 Education 4 Social Security If the minimum number of cases is set on 3, then I want to obtain the following results: count mean mode median 1 Central Administration 15 250 60 190 2 Health 2 *.* *.* *.* 3 Education 45 560 350 400 4 Social Security 1 *.* *.* *.* Any idea is helpful!!! Thank you in advanced. Hi everybody,
I am new to syntax using SPSS and getting very confused. I wondering if someone could help me to write a syntax for one of my analysis. I am working on SPSS 15. Here a little summary of my study and what I want to get out of my syntax. I have 7 groups in total, each received 2 treatments: group1: who get vehicle and vehicle (veh/veh) group2: who get vehicle and scopolamine (veh/scopo), scopolamine impair memory group3: who get drug1 and scopolamine (drug1/scopo) group4: who get drug2 and scopolamine (drug2/scopo) Etc... to group7: who get drug7 and scopolamine (drug7/scopo) Drugs 1 to 7 are different menory enhancer drugs. Each group goes into 7 days of repeated measure (I am measuring memory function). So, I have a repeated measure ANOVA (days the RM measure) w/ 7 differents treatment conditions. For my contrasts; 1st: I want to see if scopo impair memory (compare group 1 and 2) 2nd: I want to compare my drugs groups w/ group 2 (do my treatment enhance memory after amnesia induced using scopo). Also, should I include scopolamine as a covariate, or just consider my 7 groups as receiving 1 treatment, since I can considee that they all have memory impairment in the 2nd part of the analysis? Any help to write the correct syntax, would be greatly appreciated.
