It happens every now and then that I need to take my GPL Reference Guide off the shelf. Originally a pdf file found somewhere, and a printed copy both makes it easy to search for examples and check the details for the specific syntax. In a discussion, I suggested that the other person should locate such a pdf file, but it turned out to be difficult. There are links pointing to the guide on IBM web pages, see for example http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27038407, but none seem to work. Any suggestions for links to a working GPL manual?

Thanks for the link, but it doesn't work here on my side, it ends with something like "This page can't be accessed" (in Swedish though). And I suspect that IBM want it to work everywhere? So what are they doing wrong? Or is it something strange happening here? Still, in case the browser settings are flawed in any way here where I work, it seems reasonable to expect the same thing to happen elsewhere, wouldn't you say?

Hi, I am close to Sweden (Lithuania), and I receive the following message when trying to access GPL Manual: The same with two other manuals I tried. Even Installation Instructions are not accessible. FWIW, in order to find documentation on
IBM products, I usually start with the Knowledge Center: http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/
From here, I can use the table of contents to get to, say, the SPSS Statistics 24 landing page: http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSLVMB_24.0.0/spss/product_landing.dita?lang=en From here, I can either: 1. Again use the TOC** to get to the online GPL Reference: http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSLVMB_24.0.0/statistics_reference_project_ddita-gentopic3.html?lang=en, or... 2. Follow the "Installation instructions and manuals" link to the listing of PDFs: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27047033 I am not sure why the GPL PDF would be unreachable in Sweden and Lithuania; these are public links. Best, Alex ** or, usually somewhat less successfully, the Search function ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command.
