Is there a way to filter the view of variables and data in the GUI? The
"View" menu doesn't offer that. With a set of 300 variables I only want to see 2 variables with there values - in the gui (not in the output window with LIST). Is it possible? ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. Hi,
You can define VARIABLE SETS, e.g. a set of socioeconomic vars, etc. There is also a SETSMACRO extension command http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/spssstat/v20r0m0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.spss.statistics.help%2Fidh_uset.htm Regards, Albert-Jan ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ----- Original Message ----- > From: Moon Kid <[hidden email]> > To: [hidden email] > Cc: > Sent: Friday, April 4, 2014 1:01 PM > Subject: [SPSSX-L] [GUI] Filter variable/data view > > Is there a way to filter the view of variables and data in the GUI?
